Any substance emits electron when it strikes against X—ray or tray source with high energy. The electron is called as the secondary electron. A photo film is developed even when exposed to the secondary electron. A lead intensifying screen uses such phenomena. A thin film plate is used not to give etlèct on penetration, using lead which easily emits electron rhei, exposed to X-ray or y-ray source. A thin film screen is used to reduce radioactive ray’s causing diffusion, increase sensitization speed and obtain clear photo.
